Shipping and Delivery Policy

1. Shipping Within Canada

Fjäll + Lake ships to most residential and commercial addresses within Canada.

We offer free standard shipping on Canadian orders of $100 CAD or more, calculated after discounts and before taxes.

For orders under $100 CAD, the applicable shipping charge will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the destination, package weight, size, and available carrier service.

Free shipping may not apply to:

• Oversized or unusually heavy products;
• Remote or extended-service locations;
• Certain northern regions and territories; or
• Orders requiring special handling.

Any additional shipping charge will be displayed at checkout whenever possible, or communicated to the customer before the order is shipped.

Delivery to PO boxes may be unavailable for certain products or carriers. Customers using a PO box should ensure that the selected shipping service supports the destination.

2. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within 3–5 business days after payment has been authorized. Orders placed on weekends or statutory holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Processing times may be extended during holidays, major promotions, severe weather, inventory verification, payment reviews, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel an order due to inventory errors, pricing errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, or other legitimate operational reasons.

3. Delivery Times

Standard delivery within Canada generally takes approximately 3–10 business days after dispatch. Delivery to rural, remote, northern, or extended-service areas may take longer.

All delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, severe weather, service interruptions, customs processing, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery times.

Express or expedited shipping may be offered for an additional charge where available. Available shipping methods, estimated delivery times, and charges will be displayed at checkout.

4. Order Tracking

Once an order has been shipped, a confirmation email containing the available tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.

Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to become active after the shipping confirmation is issued.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, email address, and telephone number. Fjäll + Lake is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

5. Address Changes and Undeliverable Packages

Please review your shipping address carefully before submitting your order.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been placed. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at info@worldfashionboutiquecalgary.com.

If a package is returned because of an incorrect address, refusal, failure to collect it, or repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, the customer may be responsible for the original shipping cost and any return or redelivery charges.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Packages

Please inspect your package as soon as it is delivered.

If an order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect item, or is missing an item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number and clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label.

If tracking shows that a package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check around the delivery location, ask household members or neighbours, and contact the carrier. You should also notify us promptly so that we can assist with a carrier investigation where appropriate.

Claims are subject to review and approval. Resolution may depend on the outcome of the carrier’s investigation.

7. International Shipping

International shipping may be available to selected destinations. Available destinations, shipping methods, and charges will be shown at checkout.

International delivery times vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs processing, and local delivery services. International delivery estimates are not guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for confirming that the products ordered may be lawfully imported into the destination country.

8. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, tariffs, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the customer’s responsibility. Fjäll + Lake cannot control or estimate charges imposed by foreign customs authorities.

A refusal to pay customs charges does not automatically qualify the order for a refund. Any return shipping, customs, brokerage, or related costs may be deducted from an approved refund, subject to our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.

9. Payment Methods

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include major credit cards and other approved electronic payment options.

All payments are subject to authorization and security verification. We do not accept payment by ATM transfer or direct bank transfer unless specifically arranged and confirmed by us in writing.
